And be looking for the renewed moon (sliver) until it is spotted til this coming Friday evening. Right now the moon is in its darkened phase, invisible to the naked eye. What a picture YHVH has painted for us in the interim- to be ready for His coming, when we must walk by "faith....NOT BY SIGHT!" Remember, two witnesses are required to see the renewed moon with the naked eye from Jerusalem to declare Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets (note: this is not the same as Rosh Hashana, the rabbinic declaration of a new year. More on that later).
